DCLSNet - Coming Soon!
As the state laboratory for the Commonwealth of Virginia, DCLS is excited to announced its new Web-based module called DCLSNet. This module initially focuses on reporting Newborn Screening results for babies tested under the Commonwealth's Newborn Screening testing program. This program tests for the identification of 29 metabolic and genetic disorders. DCLSNet will help eliminate dependence on paper-based processes by allowing physicians and hospitals with browser-based access to securely query and view newborn test data and to print current and historical reports in Adobe PDF.
Future plans to expand DCLSNet capabilities include on-line analytical and result reporting for a variety of services performed at DCLS, on-line sample submission, on-line e-catalog of services, and on-line Kit ordering and payment options. More information regarding DCLSNet will be published in the upcoming months, along with instructions for site enrollment and registration.
