Local Government
Local government entities that are eligible to purchase state and federal surplus property include:
- Any political subdivision of the state (cities, counties, towns); units of local government; economic development districts; or any other department or agency of the subdivision
- Volunteer fire departments that are not tax-supported but are recognized as essential to city or county safety programs
