Recycling Assistance  

Recycling is one component of a comprehensive waste reduction strategy that includes:

• source reduction
• reuse and 
• recycling 

The ultimate goal of the DGS Recycling Assistance Program is to help agencies maximize their opportunities to use materials made with recycled content and to reduce waste and minimize trash disposal costs, conserve resources and use state monies carefully by reusing or recycling materials.
