Banci Tewolde to continue serving as Director of DGS

In case you missed the news, we are excited to announce that Governor Abigail Spanberger reappointed Banci Tewolde as the Director of the Virginia Department of General Services (DGS).

As we transition into this new administration, having a director who understands the critical services DGS provides for the Commonwealth is an invaluable asset. With more than two decades of experience in Virginia state government, including managing complex budget and legislative processes as an Associate Director of the Department of Planning and Budget and her tenure as DGS director, Banci will continue to bring the stability and expertise necessary to lead DGS forward.
