Test Description

Samples are analyzed by Inductively Coupled Plasma – Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) by direct analysis and where sample digestion is employed.

Sample Collection

Samples are collected in 1 L plastic bottles. Sample Support Services (S3) Kit Management supplies collection kits with collection instructions to sample collectors. Samples are preserved with nitric acid upon receipt at the laboratory. Samples must be preserved within two weeks of collection.

Storage Guidelines

Store at room temperature.
