Test Description

The colisure test uses nutrient indicators to detect fecal coliforms and E. coli in a water sample.

Sample Collection

Samples are collected in DCLS supplied bottles within the bottle expiration date. At least 100 mL of sample must be collected and the entire sample is consumed in analysis making repeat or duplicate testing not feasable.

Storage Guidelines

If a sample cannot be analyzed immediately and is still within the 30-hour hold time, the sample can be stored in a refrigerator at 2 to 8 ºC.
