Test Description

Silica reacts with molybdate reagent in acid media to form a yellow silicomolybdate complex which is then measured using spectrohphotometric detection.

Sample Collection

Collect samples in polyethylene bottles and refrigerate at 2-6 °C. Do not acidify samples.

Storage Guidelines

Samples are stored at 2-6 °C for up to 28 days following collection.
