Want to be part of our weekly food truck series?
OnTheSquareVA hosts weekly food trucks around Capitol Square weekly from May through October. We use StreetFoodFinder.com to manage weekly bookings. The easy-to-use app, which can be accessed on a computer or your phone, allows vendors to apply, upload the contract agreement, then choose which days they would like to attend. We are limited on the number of vendors who can participate each week, and we have settings in place to make the booking process open and fair to all.
How it works
- Sign up for an account at StreetFoodFinder.com.
- Download the Food Truck Contract Agreement (also available on the app), sign it and upload to StreetFoodFinder.com.
- Go to our "Hot Spot" titled On The Square VA
- Open booking opportunities will appear under your Bookings tab
- Booking opportunities are auto-released 90 days before the event date, so there is a "rolling release."
- You can transfer bookings between trucks; either another truck in your fleet or another vendor's.
- There is a $5 fee per booking. This is a service fee charged by StreetFoodFinder.com; OnTheSquareVA does not charge any fee to participate. If OnTheSquareVA cancels an event, your service fee is returned.
